MARY GIBBONS

A member of Dublin Tourism, had worked as a Tour Guide, in such diverse places as China, Jerusalem, Rome and the Vatican City. She works as a Guide in Ireland and has a vast knowledge of the Country's History, Art, Architecture and Politics. Her style of guiding has made her one of Ireland's top tour Guides.



MICHAEL GIBBONS (Mary's Brother)
A native of Clifden, is one of Ireland's leading Field Archaeologists. A specialist in Irish Islands and uplands, he has discovered hundreds of antiquities including over fifty megalithic tombs and Bronze Age ritual monuments in Connemara and Aran. Michael has a wealth of experience gained from over 14 years of working and walking in such diverse places as the Negev Desert, Egyptian Sinai, Southern Greece, Rome, London and throughout Ireland. He has contributed to numerous television and radio programmes at home and abroad.

DUBLIN CITY TOUR

Our special tour explores the rich heritage of one of Europe's most exciting cities, founded more than 1,000 years ago by the Vikings.

* Explore the Great Georgian Squares and Doorways.

* Visit the famous Phoenix Park, Home of our President Mary McAllesse.

* See the delights of the city of Roddy Doyle, James Joyce, Brendan Behan, Sean O' Casey, Oscar Wilde and Nobel Prize winners W.B Yeats, George B. Shaw and Samuel Beckett.

* See Christ Church, Dublin Castle, Guinness Brewery, O' Connell Street: The G.P.O. - Birthplace of the Irish Nation - The National Museum and Library.

* Visit St. Patrick's Cathedral, Burial Place of Jonathan Swift, in the heart of the Liberties.

* Our last stop is the world famous Trinity College.
