From all directions, follow signs for City Centre / O'Connell St. The Gresham is located close to the GPO (General Post Office) and the Dublin Spire on O'Connell St. Travelling North on O'Connell Street, we are on your right after the Spire and as you approach Parnell Square. Travelling South on O'Connell Street, we are on your left just after the Cathal Burgha Street junction approaching the Dublin Spire. The Gresham is well served by public transport links.
There is a taxi rank at our front door while we are also served to and from Dublin Airport by both the Air Coach and Air Link bus services. The Gresham is also 1km approx. from both Busaras (Central Bus Station) and Connolly railway station.

Within walking distance you'll find Trinity College, museums, theatres, cinemas, restaurants, pubs and clubs as well as great shopping in the two main shopping areas surrounding Henry Street and Grafton Street. Temple Bar is also only minutes away as well as Dublin's major business districts including the IFSC (Int'l Financial Services Centre).

Further out from the city centre are the coastal towns of Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey to the south as well as Howth and Malahide to the north. There are a number of excellent golf courses also within easy reach.

Mattress was antiquated and very uncomfortable, sagging in the middle. Not what one would expect in a 4 star hotel. O'Connell Street, where the Gresham is located, is about 15 minute walk from the real centre of Dublin - Grafton Street.

We found the bedroom to be spacious and clean.The iced fairy cakes to welcome us a very nice touch.Unfortunately we felt the staff to be rather stand-offish - not as friendly as we had experienced elsewhere. The food in the bar and lounge was very good but unfortunately the main restaurant was closed in the evenings.
