The
Finnstown Country House Hotel
is listed in Burke’s famous “Irish Houses” and dates back to the 18th century, tough the Finnstown dates back as far back as the Normans. The superbly restored mansion is enclosed by 45 acres of well matured grounds; this truly is one of the finest hotels in the country.
As you enter the lobby you will be awed by the old world allure and the splendour of the sculptured ceiling and grandiose staircase. The Finnstown maintains a tradition of style and elegance. The highest quality of service and efficiency is the mantra of the staff and a promise to do everything possible to make your stay an idyllic one.

Directions from Dublin Airport to Finnstown
Exit Dublin Airport, take the second exit. From the roundabout join the M1 (towards Dublin). Take the 1st exit from the M1 (towards M50 Southbound) and go through M50 toll bridge. Take the first exit past the toll bridge and continue on to the roundabout and and take the 3rd left, towards N4 West. At the first traffic lights after the Texaco Station, turn left onto Newcastle Road and go straight through 2 roundabouts. After second roundabout, Finnstown House is 300 metres on the right.
Directions from Dublin City Centre to Finnstown
Travel along south quays from O'Connell Bridge out of city centre towards Heuston station, pass Heuston station, continue on N4, Continue straight through M50 roundabout and continue on N4. At the first traffic lights past Texaco garage, take a left onto Newcastle Road (signposted Finnstown). Go straight through the next 2 roundabouts. After the second roundabout, Finnstown House is located 300m on the right.
The Finnstown Country House Hotel is located in south county Dublin. Set between the Liffey Valley and the Dublin Mountains, the hotel is only a 15 minute drive from the city centre but is still a perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside. Dublin International Airport is just 20 minutes away on the M50
