The helpfulness of the staff was particularly noticable. I had my teenage son and wanted to sit in the bar on Friday evening, but some members probably of the public were quite drunk, so I did not feel comfortable in the main bar lounge area, just off the reception area. However this did not affect our stay.
The hotel was an excellent central location as we went to Dublin to shop. Staff were very nice. Double glazing windows might prevent some of the noise, but noise is expected at this location so I did not mind too much.
Good
very private for city centre, nice staff, cozy room and good value. bar food wasn't great though.
The hotel is right in the heart of all the action in the Temple Bar area. We thought when we made the reservation that we were just back from it. We didn't get any sleep at all due to the street noise from the drunks, the taxis, the honking cars, the loud trucks. If you're young and you don't need any sleep, it would be a great location.
Beautiful rooms, and I have stayed there on a few occasions. However, breakfast very sparse, and breakfast room very dark and gloomy.
Excellent value for money - very central - unfortunately my room was opposite a night club accross the street
The hotel is in a fantastic location and all the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.
Good value for money, great location...traffic a little loud and room a little dark but no major complaints
The hotel was great. Safe, clean and very comfortable. No complaints, only praise. Lovely room, lovely decor, staff very friendly and helpful. Noisy at night but that's to be expected in the area.
The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. The fact that it is situated between Temple Bar and the Grafton/St. Stephen's Green area was fantastic. Overall a good value.
fine
THE HOTEL STAFF WERE LOVELY AND REALLY HELPFUL .THE ROOMS WERE OF NICE SIZE BUT WERE REALLY DARK VERY LITTLE DAY LIGHT ,HAD TO USE LAMPS DURING THE DAY
Location was good. Very noisy at night but found out it is possible to get room towards the back which would not be as noisy if I had asked before hand that is if one was available. Great for a shopping trip it being so central.
Very good for an overnight business stay, right in the centre of things!
Nice hotel, very good located, a lot of interesting sights within walking distance.
The hotel is brilliantly located in Dublin City Centre. The room had a nice old world feel to it and was clean. The room that we stayed in was at the front of the building and it was very noisy until very early in the morning so we did not get a good nights sleep on both nights of our stay. Breakfast was nothing special, and we only got tea and toast on Saturday morning as the waiting staff claimed that we were late for breakfast even though we were sitting there for 10 minutes before anyone appoached us. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and the bar was nice.
Room was small and slightly cramped. Also very stuffy. Everything else was fine.
Choice location in the heart of sights for tourists and nightlife both. Everything in walking distance. The rooms were old americana type furnishing with clean updated bathrooms. Compassionately friendly staff was my first impression of Ireland, and a lasting one.
Room was clean, totally acceptable.
Very cosy hotel in great location - right in the heart of Dublin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great vaule too.
Really central for Dublin Castle conferences. Good value for money. Nice room. Facilities could be better- exercise, pool-etc. I liked the Free WI-FI and the bar underneath. Tough to find.
